About

Aubrey grew up in the Southwest and has been a resident of Flagstaff since 2011. She is a committed mom and outdoor enthusiast whose political activism began in earnest in 2016. Most concerned with ‘the big picture’, Aubrey has worked to defend voting rights and elect people into government that will uphold the ideals of democracy and civil rights for every citizen. She has held various elected positions in the Coconino County Democratic Party through which she promoted civic engagement from the very diverse demographics of this immense and beautiful county. This space also garnered her experience in organizing and managing hundreds of volunteers.

The county recorders’ office is one that must uphold integrity and attention to detail. It is important that every voter knows that the rules have been followed, the system is fair, and their vote has been counted. In a period when government distrust is prevalent, this office must continue to be a source of dependability and confidence.

The recorders’ office is also one that maintains real property records for the county for parcels, land ownership, and zoning. Aubrey is working to become knowledgable about this side of the office as well. Her goal is to provide continuity, transparency, and timely services to all of the people who use this office, both for business needs and to have their voice heard.
